Realtor’s PAC – “Nest Egg”

When scandal struck Congressman Gary Condit, he lost a bruising primary to Assemblyman Dennis Cardoza in this swing seat in the Central Valley of California. In the general election, the Realtor's Political Action Committee chose to conduct an independent expenditure campaign on help make sure Cardoza earned the right to go to Congress. “Nest Egg” was one of three pieces of mail designed to tout Cardoza’s strong record of support for the home mortgage deduction and fiscal responsibility to older voters. Dennis Cardoza won with 51.3% of the vote.
